This Blog Is Moving
The blog may be moving to another location. The new address is http://ohbuggers.blogspot.com.
I’m going to give Blogger a one or two week trial to see if they’ll fit me or not. Their system is more flexible, allowing me to use HTML and CSS in my post which WordPress.com automatically strips from posts here. I can also edit Blogger templates, which is not something that can not be done on WordPress.com. So if I get the urge to customize, I can do so!
Then again, perhaps their lack of nice themes (as I much prefer this one) and categories will be too much of a loss. Perhaps I’ll miss WordPress’ nice posting interface too much. Time will tell.
As of tonight, 04-26-2006, I am going to start posting over there. My apologies for how annoying this will be to anyone who actually reads this blog. All one (or heck, maybe sometimes even two) of you.
edit: So far I’m finding Blogger to be a decent alternative. I don’t like how their comment system works (it being so seperate from the post itself), but I am so far enjoying the freedom that it offers.

I’d describe myself as a very ecclectic and strange individual. My interests range from the very spiritual to the very technical, having delved into both non-mainstream faiths as well as little bit of Linux. I’ve been called a “hopeless romantic” by a very dear and intelligent woman and I find that quite fitting, and I typically shun social interaction in general.

actually I have both of them(wordpress and blogger).
one for english blog and another for chinese blog.
but i like ‘blogger’ better, because it’s so simple and easy to post. and you are right that blogger’s disadvantage is the lack of nice templates and categories.

The categories and templates are still at the top of my list of things that I miss since I have moved to Blogger. I also miss being able to have so much fun with the side bar, like adding my music tracks from Last.fm or the RSS feed from my other blog.
I too like Blogger better despite those things. The freedom simply wins over the highly restrictive nature of WordPress.com.
WordPress the software, though, I love it! I use it on Shadows In Motion, my other blog, and I can’t imagine using any other software.
