So Hot

I don’t know how to translate fahrenheight into celsius. The numbers that you see here have been translated using this page at noaa.gov. The numbers seem suspect, but it’s what I have to go on. :p

So far it’s hit a high of 91o F / 32o C here and it’s currently 87o F / 30o C. Yet here I sit, considering going out back to work out. :p

I spent most of the winter wondering how I was going to handle these and hotter temperatures while still continuing to work out. I procrastinated and decided that I’d cross this bridge when it got here. Well it’s here. :/

Most likely I’ll just do what I usually do for however long I can stand to do it and then have a nice, long cold shower after.

If it wasn’t for the mosquitos I’d wait until after night fall.

Anyway, I’m just stalling and venting. Time to start hydrating for 20 to 30 minutes and then do some serious sweating. Bleh!

  1. It wasn’t as bad as I was expecting it to be. I did wait until the temp came down to about 83, so that helped a bit.

I was also pleasently surprised that my asthma didn’t bother me during the work out. With the heat I was expecting it to be an issue.

I’m not sure what the length was; probably close to typical for me, which is 20 minutes.

Unfortunately I didn’t have anything healthy available to eat, so I had to hit up the chicken nuggets after the work out. :p Figures! I probably put the calories burned during the work out right back on. On the bright side there is the muscle toning and stamina that theoretically moved forward.

    pfft.

Anyhow, there’s healthier stuff in the house now.

    Later,
