edit: corrected the date. 6th month, eh? Hellooo time warp. Not quite sure how I managed to type that.

I noticed that we had a freeze warning today so decided to not wait until too late in the evening to work out. This weather is fantastic, is it not? Tornados one day, freezing weather the next. Nature’s gone bonkers. There were apparently 11 twister touch downs around my general area yesterday. Carle Junction had one headed their way.. lol.. it’s so sick to laugh at it but I can’t help it, they come close to being literally completely flattened every year. At least once. That’s no exageration exaggeration, I’ve driven through that “town” months after it was hit and still most of it was gone, being rebuilt.

Why it’s not a ghost town by now is beyond me.

Anyhow…

The work out today was the typical routine. Walk -> casually jump rope -> stretch -> speed walk -> quick jump rope -> stretch -> squats -> reverse for the cool down and then do sit ups and push ups. I didn’t get any kata in today as I didn’t feel up to it. By the time that I finished the walking squats (aka my “karate squats”) I was too worn out.

It felt good to get moving again. Walking is healthy and all that, but it’s not going to bulid the tone that I’m after. Not that I’m after much, mind you.
