Olestra, eh?
I wonder if this has anything to do with the extreme “stomech virus” that hit me awhile back. I didn’t know about Olestra so had no idea to look for it, but apparently this product causes stomech irritation in some people.
That night was hell. Simultaneously experiencing bad diarrhea while throwing up, this behavior was brought on by eating healthy chips (I think it was Sun chips) and washing it down with some orange juice. What seemed to be a healthy little snack turned out to be a poisonus combination.
The next time that I see those bags of chips I’m going to have to see if they mention anything about Olestra or Olean.

First of all, I dont believe that Sun Chips have Olestra. Second of all, you people who are getting sick, like the woman from Braintree Mass…get some brains. READ. READ. READ. SHe claims to have been lucky to have made it to the hearing because of diarrhea. HOW MANY BAGS ARE YOU EATING? I can guarantee that she is overweight, eats “light” chips and drinks “diet” soda, ALL day, and is still fat!!! READ THE LABELS PEOPLE!! Dont sue for your own stupidity!
This is a very old post (about six months old) and it is referring to an ordeal that happened a bit before this post was made. By the time that I wrote this post, the (single, to answer your quesiton) bag of chips was – thankfully – long gone. So I’m afraid that your post isn’t very timely.
Also, the original problem probably occurred as a result of mixing a certain orange juice with the chips that I ate. I’m not a doctor and I don’t propose to know for certain that this combination was the cause, or if it was the Olestra, or if Olestra can or can not even cause a reaction like that.
You apparently haven’t read my posts regarding the dieting and exorcising that I have been doing over the last several months. No soda of any kind has been in my diet for several months, nor have chips of any sort. I would wager a guess that you haven’t read any other post on this blog.
At six foot five inches (roughly two and a half meters) tall, dropping to 197 pounds (about 89 Kilos) is doing awfully good. It’s not where I want to be, granted, but it’s far from fat.
Now I’m going to go continue being sore from my gym visit this morning. Good day,
