Raving iPods & Suicide Girls

Note: This is a repost from SIM so this was not in fact “last night’s dream”.

I love the SuicideGirls (link probably not safe for work). Lovely ladies with a strong spirit, how can you go wrong? >)

Much of last night’s dream has faded, as dreams love to do, but I do recall a few bits worth sharing. For one – and I’m guessing that some of the SG girls would laugh at this – they had their own mansion ala the Playboy mansion. It looked more like a giant cozy house than a mansion, with its red velvet steps and matching hand rail with gold colored round metal bars attaching the rail to the steps. The steps, coincidently, gave direct access to the main floor’s rave room with its large wooden floor.

I don’t recall the rest of the mansion unfortunately but I think that I recall some matching large red velvety curtains covering the windows in the room directly across from the rave room.

Anyhow, one of the gals and I got along fairly decently, though I’m sure that I was more interested in her than her I. This was pretty much the underlying theme of the dream.

My dreams get kind of crazy, as anyone who reads this oft neglected category of my blog knows. In this dream the most entertaining part that I remember occurred, as you no doubt guessed, on the rave floor.

The music was playing and a number of the SG gals were goofing around on the floor. One was wearing one of those cute little pink panties. It wasn’t a serious party; the lights were on, the windows were open and the room was pretty well lit. Myself and the woman… who’s name I don’t remember… were hanging out in one of the far corners. There were U shaped comfy couches in the corners of the room and this one was next to a window.

Sounds like it’s getting kinky, doesn’t it?

I was not snuggled up on the couch with her. No, my dreams get much more interesting than that. I was sitting on the floor. Next to a giant iPod Video. I think that it was laying flat on the floor at the time – it was probably eight feet tall.

So her and I were talking and I don’t recall what brought it about but her mood turned a touch sour. Now, I’m a big goof. When I like a woman I try to make her smile and laugh, so in the dream I lifted the iPod, with no real effort I may add, and suddenly straddled it! I don’t remember it having a seat, but whatever the case I was sitting directly below the video screen and the iPod was standing on its own.

I then turned on some good dance floor music and… this was perfectly normal for the dream world… the iPod began to dance to the music. :D

It was no gentle dancer, either. This thing really got down to the tunes, bending in ways that it physically shouldn’t be able to. Twisting at its center, leaning over, its two top corners swaying left and right as though they were hands in the air. At one point it even fell backward and caught it self with one of its top corners! A group of the other ladies cheered.

All the while I’m riding on the thing as though it’s a bull, being a silly goof, waving one hand in the air at one point and dancing in my (invisible?) seat at other times. I winked at her and gave her a grin, but unfortunately she gave only a half hearted smile. Aww. Well, I tried.

After her less than enthusiastic smile she laid over on the couch. Something was obviously bothering the woman and I began to suspect that I’d somehow over stepped myself. It was at this point that the iPod began to ring.

Ring? Oh yes, it somehow took video calls too.

She wasn’t quite interested in taking the call. In fact I think that she sort of wanted to avoid it. The iPod, of course, kind of moved to the sound of the ringing, which was somewhat musical in itself. So I, in a last ditch effort to amuse, done something silly in my seat as the iPod jived to the ring.

It obviously didn’t work and I slid off of the iPod. She took the call and the video popped on screen and it was some other guy. Whoops, apparently she was close to some other dude. What a way to learn eh? Oh, well. Win some, lose some.

Pfft, not every dream ends happily I suppose. :p

In the real world I’m not a party person. I definitely wouldn’t go to a rave. So I don’t know why the dream chose this setting, but it was fun while it lasted. :)

Also, the SuicideGirl that I was pals with looked remarkably similar to Holly Marie Combs. Hmph, referring to someone by their full name is so weird…

Note: I can’t tell if that’s Holly’s official site or not. It locked up my comp the first time it loaded – she deserves a much better site if it’s her’s! ;)
